We provide ongoing maintenance for gardens in Wellington’s southern suburbs, with work planned by season and shaped by local conditions. By noticing the small details and acting early, we help keep your garden healthy and reduce the need for major interventions over time.
What regular garden care includes
Our regular garden care service covers a wide range of seasonal tasks, including:
Weeding
Planting
Compost and mulch spreading
Fertilising
Hedge trimming
Pruning
Weed eating
Clearing pest plants
Managing insect pests
Removing garden waste
Carrying out seasonal tasks.
We leave lawns to the lawn care specialists.
In your garden, we focus on improving soil health as the foundation for strong, healthy plants, and on creating a healthy ecology that supports long-term resilience.
Pricing
For the first ten hours of work, the rate is $85 per hour including GST. After that, you become a regular customer and the rate is $80 per hour for each gardener.
Products used and waste removal are charged on an as used basis. Payment is due within 7 days. Prices are reviewed yearly.
Communication and what to expect
At our initial visit, we discuss your priorities and learn what you want from your garden. After the visit, I email you notes from our conversation to ensure we have a shared understanding of the work.
If you decide to have us care for your garden, we will add you to our schedule and you can leave the rest to us. Our one-stop service makes life easier so you can sit back and enjoy your garden.
You will receive occasional emails about your garden noting our observations, suggestions and questions, so you know what is happening in your garden and seasonal tasks are completed at the right time.
